Yesterday was our first hit out for the 2014/15 season. The lads travelled by bus to Bendigo to play against the Sandhurst CC. We fielded 2 teams on the day, the main team pictured wearing the new club apparel.

In the main game, we just fell short of the 190 set by the opposition. JNR Irvine was outstanding with the bat and was well supported by Chris Hester. With the ball it was Red Vine and old man Jonesy that led the way.

In the second game our team led by Ernie Burger was victorious on the day. Ernie match report on the bus was a ripper and we might have to make him a regular on Saturday nights.

All in all a great trip, A real bonding opportunity for the lads.
